19th Annual Celebrity Golf & Tennis Classic

Golfers will tee off on September 20th at the beautiful Diablo Country Club, and tennis players will serve aces at the historic Berkeley Tennis Club on October 2nd. Both days will offer lots of fun and excitement, with great food, entertainment, awards, and the opportunity to bid on great auction items. And as if that weren’t enough, local tennis pros, and celebrities from the sports and media arenas will be participating in the tournaments! Our Center Court exhibition will feature Martina Navratilova and Gigi Fernandez. Whether your passion is golf or tennis, the Classic is a great chance for you to have fun and help a worthy cause.

This year’s grand finale, the “Casino Royale” Gala, will be held at the Claremont Resort and Spa from 6:00-10:00 p.m. Join the fun and experience the thrill of casino gaming, sip fine wine, dine on delicious international cuisine, bid on great items at our live and silent auctions, and enjoy music and dancing, too!

Proceeds from the 2010 Celebrity Golf & Tennis Classic will benefit Thunder Road, Alta Bates Summit’s life-changing residential recovery program for chemical dependency for young people and their families, as well as a number of other life saving programs and services that Alta Bates Summit Medical Center provides to meet the health care needs of the people in our community.
